Three questions your contracts can answer.

What did we sign up for?
Your total across the vendors you send, added up once. Signed and quoted money are kept apart, and no vendor is counted twice.
What have we paid, and what’s left?
Send deposit receipts too, and we take off what you’ve paid. If we see none, we say so rather than guess.
What’s due next?
The payments and deadlines we find, in the order they fall, with the clause behind them.

You don’t have to cut anything or call anyone. It’s your paperwork, read for you.

Across 4 vendors: $58,358.40 signed and $6,150.00 quoted but not accepted. You have paid $17,750.00, leaving $40,608.40 still to pay on what you have signed.

Why the venue isn’t counted twice

The venue’s invoice prints $38,848.00 of charges, a $5,460.40 service charge and a $44,308.40 total that includes both. Adding the charges to the total would count this venue at $83,156.40, $38,848.00 more than it is. Northlight prints no total, so its figure is the sum of its priced lines. Each vendor is counted once.

When two documents disagree

Your venue's Rental Addendum A lists “Ceremony seating — 120 white garden chairs”, included. The rental quote you haven't signed lists “Ceremony chairs — 120 @ $4.75 … $570.00”. Two documents can't say whether those are the same chairs; only the vendors can. You see both lines, and a short message you could send to both vendors before you sign.

Something like this isn’t the thing to expect. When we find one, this is how it looks.

How it works

  1. Send what you have.

Contracts, quotes, invoices and deposit receipts. PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, screenshots and phone photos all work. The PDF your vendor emailed checks best.

  2. We read them.

Software reads your documents, re-adds the figures from their own lines, and names anything it couldn’t read.

Usually within 48 hours. We email you when your summary is ready.

  3. See your summary, free.

What’s left to pay on what you’ve signed, how many dates are open, and how soon the next one is. Then decide.

Two quotes, one guest count.

Send 2 to 4 unsigned quotes for the same kind of vendor. We put them side by side at the guest count you choose: price per guest, service charges and what they’re charged on, tax, minimums, what’s included, deposits and cancellation terms. Free.

The lower price per guest is the higher total, because of the room rental and what the fee is charged on. It shows what the quotes say and the arithmetic. It does not tell you which to book.

Money and dates

  • What you’ve committed, paid and have left, per vendor, with the source line behind it
  • The payments we find, in the order they fall, so you can see the months where several land at once
  • The deadlines we find, in the order they close

What your contracts say

  • What your vendors need from you: the insurance certificate, the meal choices, the final confirmation
  • What they charge if something changes, such as a cancellation, a moved date or a night that runs long, quoted from the clause
  • Your wedding day as your vendors contracted it, side by side, and anywhere two don’t fit
  • Terms a quote leaves open, with the question to ask before you sign
  • Optional extras on your paperwork, with the clause that lets you change them and how visible each is on the day, so you can decide what to keep
  • Things to act on that carry no dollar figure, like a confirmation window about to close

Anything that doesn’t add up

  • Shown with its arithmetic and the quoted line
  • What a vendor would have to agree to, kept apart from what your terms already allow
  • Wording for each message, for you to send yourself

Keeping on top of it

  • Reminders to you and your partner, which stop when you mark one paid
  • A calendar link with alerts, and a Monday “This week” email
  • Documents added later are read with the rest, a new version is stored, and you’re emailed what changed
  • Vendor messages you can mark sent, replied or settled, with follow-up wording when a reply is slow
  • A printable sheet per vendor, and a page for the final invoices after the wedding

The 24/7 Concierge

  • An automated assistant that answers from your plan and your documents. When the model behind it is unavailable, it quotes your plan and our guides, and says so.

  • Seating and place cards
  • The run sheet, and a day-of link that shows no money
  • Envelopes for tips and final payments
  • A private page for whoever pays for part of it

And the rest

  • Vows and toasts, music, letters, gifts and thank-yous
  • An album your guests add to, a keepsake, and a copy of your plan to download

$79 once, charged in US dollars. Nothing renews. What we find never changes what you pay. Open until 60 days after your wedding, with a copy to download and keep.

You see a summary of what we found, the totals behind it, and a complete list of what your plan contains, before you decide.

Worth buying once your first contract is signed. Documents you add after that are read with the rest, for the same $79.

If there isn't enough in your documents to build a plan, we tell you, and there's nothing to buy. There's no money-back guarantee, which is why the read is free and your summary comes first.

You ask: What does our venue contract say about moving the date?

The Concierge answers: The Grand Oak Estate agreement, section 9, says: ‘Deposits are non-refundable. One change of date requested at least 180 days before the event will be considered, subject to availability.’ Whether that holds up is a question for a qualified professional, and I won’t guess.

Two more questions it can answer

You ask: Is the service charge on top of the $44,308.40?

The Concierge answers: No. The Grand Oak Estate invoice prints $38,848.00 of charges and a $5,460.40 service charge, then a $44,308.40 total that includes both.

The Grand Oak Estate, invoice, totals

You ask: Do we need the rental company’s chairs?

The Concierge answers: Your venue’s Rental Addendum A lists ‘Ceremony seating — 120 white garden chairs’, included. The Willow & Vine quote you haven’t signed lists ‘Ceremony chairs — 120 @ $4.75 … $570.00’. Two documents can’t say whether those are the same chairs. Your plan has a short message you could send both vendors before you sign.

What it won’t do

  • It won’t pretend to be a person. It says it’s automated.
  • It’s built to give only figures already in your plan or printed in your documents, and each reply is checked for that before you see it.
  • It won’t do sums on your money. It quotes the figures your paperwork prints.
  • It won’t tell you whether a clause holds up, or promise what a vendor will do.
  • It won’t contact anyone. Every message is one you send.

When it can’t stand behind an answer, it says so. When the model behind it is unavailable, it answers by quoting your plan and our guides, and labels the answer.

Straight answers.

Questions before you start

Is it free?

Two parts are. The free planner needs only an email: a checklist dated from your wedding day, a budget with money by month, a guest list of up to 50 invitations, and your partner. The free read is free too: send your documents and you get your summary, and 2 to 4 unsigned quotes side by side.

The $79 plan is optional and paid once. You decide after your summary, and no card is asked for until then. If there isn't enough in your documents to build a plan, we tell you, and there's nothing to buy.

What does the $79 buy, and for how long?

Your plan, built from your documents: what you’ve committed per vendor, what you’ve paid and what’s left, with the line behind the figures; the payments and deadlines we find, in date order; what your vendors need from you; what your contracts charge if something changes, quoted from the clause; and anything that doesn’t add up, with wording you can send yourself.

You also get reminders by email to you and your partner before the dates in your plan, a calendar link, and the 24/7 Concierge, an automated assistant that answers from your plan. Documents you add later are read with the rest. It opens the rest of the planner too, from the wedding page to the run sheet.

$79 once, charged in US dollars; nothing renews. Open until 60 days after your wedding, with a copy to download and keep.

What you buy doesn’t depend on anything being wrong: it’s the payments and dates we find in your own contracts, with reminders before each.

Is this AI? What if it’s wrong?

Yes. An AI model reads the documents you send. Our code then re-adds the figures from the lines they came from and leaves out a figure it can’t find in the document’s own text, and an automated review checks the plan before you see it.

Figures in your plan open to the lines they came from, so you can check them against your paper. A figure that rests only on a phone photo is shown to you and not counted as proven.

If one doesn’t match, tell us from the panel under your plan. A person reads every one of these. We will look at your documents again and write to you if the plan changes.

Will it catch everything?

No, and we won’t say it does. What it gives you can be checked: figures open to their lines, and anything we couldn’t read is listed in your plan. We publish what the last independent test of our reader found, misses included, on “What is live, and what is not”.

Your free summary is the first check. Compare what’s left to pay with your own records before you pay us anything, and if the numbers don’t match, don’t buy it. Keep your originals, and check a figure before you act on it.

What happens to my documents?

We keep what you send us, what we build from it and what you add to your workspace, with no scheduled deletion, whether or not you become a customer. We may sell, license or share the data we hold — including your documents, what we extract from them and what you add to your workspace — with other businesses, for their own purposes.

We do not contact your vendors: every message in your plan is one you send yourself. Card details go only to our payment processor; we never see or store a card number. You can ask for a copy of what we hold or ask us to correct it. A request made under a privacy law that applies to you is handled as that law requires.

Rather not send documents? The free planner needs only an email, and the payment calendar and quote comparison sheet work from figures you type.

How long does reading take?

Usually within 48 hours. We email you when your summary is ready. If something can’t be read, we email and ask rather than guess. The free planner works as soon as you open the email.

I’m paying for part of the wedding. Is this for me?

Yes. Start your own free planner and send the contract you’re paying for. Your summary shows what’s left to pay on it. With the $79 plan, reminders before its payments come to your email. If the couple has the $79 plan, they can instead give you a private page that shows only your share.

Does it work for a wedding outside the US?

Not yet, and we’d rather say so before you send anything. It’s built for US weddings. Today it reads amounts in US dollars, so figures in euros, pounds or other currencies aren’t counted, and a contract priced in them would come back with almost nothing counted.

The guest list works anywhere; the checklist and budget are written for US weddings. The $79 is charged in US dollars.

Are you lawyers or financial advisers?

No. Wedding Remedy is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. We read your documents and show what they say, with the lines behind the figures. For anything contested, speak to a qualified professional.

Your contracts already say what you owe. We’ll add it up.
