Everything a Recovery Plan can honestly claim, and everything it cannot. If you read one page here, read this one.

This is not professional advice

Wedding Remedy is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.

We read contracts and point out what looks expensive, duplicated, or unusual next to what other couples pay. That is not the same as telling you what your rights are. If you need to know whether a clause is enforceable where you live, or what any of this means for your taxes, ask a licensed professional in that field.

The figures are costs identified, not money recovered

Figures shown are estimates of qualifying document-backed opportunities we identified in your documents, not savings achieved. Some of them require a vendor to agree, and those are shown separately. Outcomes depend on your own negotiation and your vendors' willingness.

Every number in your plan answers one question: how much is sitting in this contract that could plausibly be renegotiated, removed, or reclaimed. What actually comes back depends on what you send, when you send it, and how your vendors answer.

The Rescue Potential the scan showed you

The Rescue Potential shown at the end of the scan is a qualification result, not a dollar estimate. It is read from the answers you typed — your budget, what is already signed, how long is left, and what paperwork you hold. It is not a prediction of savings, and no figure is calculated until we have read your documents.

It is a band, not a number, and it is read from what you typed rather than from what other couples spend. The figures in your plan are measured only in your own documents, and nothing before that point is a figure at all.

The figure we show you before you pay

That one is a different number, and a much better one: it is measured only in the documents you uploaded, under the counting rules on the How we count page. It is still not a promise about what comes back to you. It is what your paperwork supports, which is the most any reading of a contract can honestly tell you.

It is also a total and its categories, not the plan. Deciding whether $79 is worth it on the strength of that figure is exactly what it is there for — but the specific line items, the quotes from your documents, and the scripts are what the purchase unlocks.

Outcomes depend on you and on your vendors

  • We never contact your vendors. Every message goes out from you, in your name.
  • A vendor can say no. Some contracts are genuinely tight, some deposits really are non-refundable, and some relationships are worth more than the line item.
  • Timing changes the odds. The same request five months out and two weeks out are not the same request.
  • Tone changes the odds too. The scripts are written to be easy to say yes to. Rewriting one angrily is your call, but it is a different message with a different result.

Benchmark numbers are directional

  • Comparisons come from real contracts that other couples chose to contribute, pooled, de-identified, and aggregated. A benchmark is never one vendor’s price — it needs at least 5 separate orders in a category-and-metro cell before it exists at all.
  • Pricing moves with metro, season, date, and scope. A benchmark tells you roughly where a price sits. It does not tell you what your vendor ought to charge.
  • Where the data behind a comparison is thin, your plan says so instead of printing a number as though it were solid. We would rather look uncertain than be confidently wrong.

Reading documents is automated, and it can be wrong

  • Extraction is done by software. It is good. It is not perfect. Phone photos, faxed scans, and handwritten addenda are the hardest.
  • When confidence is low, we ask you rather than guess. If we still cannot read a document confidently, we exclude it and say so in the plan rather than quietly inventing a figure.
  • Check every figure against your own contract before you send anything. You are the last set of eyes, and it is your name on the email.

We have no relationship with your vendors

We take no commission, referral fee, or kickback from any wedding vendor, and none of them can pay to appear or not appear in your plan. There is one payment in this business, it comes from you, and it only happens after we have read your documents and shown you what we found.

Not a financial product

Wedding Remedy is not debt relief, debt settlement, or credit repair, we are not a lender, and we are not a licensed adviser of any kind. It is a careful reading of documents you already signed.

The people in our photographs are not customers

The photographs and film on this site are brand imagery. They are generated or created with professional models, and they do not depict Wedding Remedy customers, real weddings, real documents, or real results. Nobody in an image on this site has used the service, and no picture is evidence that anything worked. We have said this here rather than in small print under each image because it is the kind of thing that should be findable, not merely disclosed.

Any figure you see in an example plan is invented and labelled as such. The only amount on this site that is real is the price — $79 for a plan. What we find never changes what you pay. You are shown it before you press anything.

Something here reads wrong to you

Tell us: help@weddingremedy.com. If a figure in your plan cannot be defended, we would rather refund it than argue about it. If you have not bought anything and the figure we showed you looks wrong, say that instead — we would rather re-read your documents than be believed for the wrong reason.
